FOUNDATION DINNER IN WAGGA WAGGA

The Annual Foundation Dinner moved to Wagga Wagga this year and was a resounding success once again. We heard wonderful presentations from Bruce Allen the Manager of the Foundation office in Parramatta, and Professor Elaine Dietsch on her amazing work in the Congo with maternal health and education. I heard many positive comments.
Elaine was awarded a Paul Harris Fellow recognition to acknowledge her work in creating a better future for people of the world.
It is through our many Humanitarian projects that we create a more peaceful world where conflict becomes less where the basics of life are provided.
Awards were given to the Rotary Clubs of Orange Calare, Orange North, Murrumbidgee, Wollundry, Wagga Wagga, Kooringal, Young and Bathurst Daybreak.
Well done to those clubs and all clubs that support Rotary Foundation.
IPDG David Kennedy presented PDG Ian Simpson with an award and PDG Fred Loneragan became a Paul Harris Society Member.
