Garry Malhotra- Ken Behren’s Helping Hands

The Garry Malhotra- Ken Behren’s Helping Hands have been feeding the Canberra community and surrounds since the 2021 lockdown commenced by providing meals and grocery hampers. They rely solely on donations to do this work.  A Go Fund Me page has been established for much needed funding. If you would like to make a contribution to this worthy cause read more.

Garry Malhotra has in the last two months spent $47k of his own money on feeding Canberrans and citizens of Queanbeyan and Yass in need of food during lockdown (see the story here).  Cooked meals are being distributed by Rotarians and other volunteer drivers across the city and out to Queanbeyan, Yass, Braidwood and Captains Flat. In addition to hot meals, cartons of groceries are also being widely distributed to help provide a balanced diet to the many isolated people unable to buy for themselves.

A Go Fund Me page has now been established for much needed donations. If you would like to make a contribution to this worthy case please see here.
