Each month our hour-long presentation will feature a special guest providing new ideas and information about recruiting and retaining members, about different types of clubs, and tips on how your club can grow. There also will be a short presentation from an Area Governor talking about specific activities in their region and an opportunity to share your membership ideas.

Geraldine will speak on how Rotary clubs can double their reach and impact by building capacity in young leaders and diverse membership. This session will challenge you to consider how you can promote diverse membership in your club, leveraging the many opportunities Rotary provides for young people. Rotary is committed to community service. Diverse world views and perspectives allow us to serve the community authentically and purposefully. How can this be achieved in your club?
Geraldine Rurenga will make history as the youngest Rotary District Governor in Zone 8 when she takes up the mantle in 2022. Geraldine has been a Rotarian for 6 years and served on the board of several non-profit organisations. As a passionate educator and a young Rotarian, Geraldine is interested building leadership capacity in our young leaders in Rotary. Promoting diverse membership in clubs, and empowering young people to continue serving our global community through Rotary are among Geraldine’s goals in Rotary.
