Partners Program Coordinator- Marilyn Roberts
As part of the Partner’s program, a number of partners and I have been discussing the possibility of holding a Quilt Sale at the District Conference in Wagga Wagga in April 2016. I have many interested participants and have decided to go ahead with the project.

Participants will create a quilt made from their “stash”. For those who don’t know what a stash is, it’s the fabric they have sitting in their cupboards that will one day make a quilt.

Participants will donate that quilt to the partner’s program quilt sale in Wagga Wagga.

Size:
The quilts are to be:
Minimum size: 1.20cm x 120cm
Maximum size: 1.50cm x1.50cm
Price:
The smaller quilt will be priced at $100
The larger quilt will be priced at $150
These prices barely reflect the cost of the material, and do not reflect the hours of the quilters in creating these beautiful quilts. A handmade quilt for $100- $150 is a bargain.  My aim to have 100 quilts for sale. Please offer the opportunity to fellow quilters who may be interested.

Rotary Foundation - Maternal and Child Health will be the recipient of the funds raised from this quilt sale.
If the quilts are not all sold at the Wagga Wagga Conference, I will arrange to have sales within the District at difference towns. Again if any quilts are not sold they will be given the various charities around the district for use or fundraising or given to Nursing homes, respite centres etc.

If you require more information or wish to be involved, or donate a quilt please contact any of the coordinators below.
