By now, you will have all received the District Directory for 2015-16 or can access this via your club secretary. It is an electronic file, not a printed book, but you can print it in full or just the parts you require. The data in the Directory is derived from the District Website. If your contact details are incorrect on this site you will not receive a correct entry in the directory and we cannot communicate with you. This new Directory will bring the district into the 21st century and integrate our district website with the directory.  Please embrace this change and you will benefit from this initiative with a little application and overcoming your fears. This directory will offer much more than we have been able to in the past. It will contain all the features you want in a directory, contact details of all Rotarians in the district, club executives, meeting times and places, the District Leadership Team and much more.

I have distributed a brochure to all members explaining how to access the directory. Everyone will get a directory this year, it will simply be delivered electronically for you to print or use however you wish. Please ensure you have a copy, give it a go, print what you want or save the entire directory to the desktop on your PC, Tablet or Smartphone to access at any time. Please take time to ensure your details are correct on the District Website (ClubRunner) by checking your profile or ask your Club Secretary to check this for you. Rotary International is progressively moving all its communication to the internet as the sole means for managing the organization. We as a district have no choice but to move down this pathway. Embracing this technology by having a dynamic internet based directory will save a lot of money we can spend doing good. Your directory will be delivered over the internet and you will be able to access it from the District Website or from an email which will be sent to every member. If you do not have an email address your club secretary will be able to assist as we have trained your club executives to ensure all members have access to a directory. Please take the time to have a look at the directory and use the functions you require, it may be a bit different at first, but you will soon realize the benefits once you become accustomed to the mode of operating. I would like to thank Webmaster, Paul Murray for this mammoth task of producing our first electronic directory and encourage you all to give it a go.
