The District Foundation Dinner is being held in Wagga Wagga on Thursday November 12 and I urge you to attend and bring your fellow Rotarians and partners to this gala night.
Professor Elaine Dietsch will tell us of her work in the Congo since 2004 and how this work in Maternal and Child Health, one of the Foundations Areas of Focus, is helping rebuild communities in this troubled land. Elaine works with Dr Luic who many of you will have heard in Cowra at the District Conference.

We will present District Foundation awards to clubs and RI Foundation Manager, Bruce Allen from the RI office in Parramatta will tell us his Rotary story.
The program will be entertaining and inspiring, I am looking forward to a great night. The Wagga Wagga Club is hosting the night at the Country Club, the cost is $25 per head and can be booked by depositing to the clubs bank.  The District Committee has asked that all clubs attending inform Mary Ann Kelly (0448 230 753) know your numbers and forward payment as a lump sum to Wagga Club before Friday 6 November (Service Account No BSB 640000, A/C 603308516).   Please clearly identify which club the payment has come from). This is so we can let the caterer know the numbers and to also avoid congestion at the door when you arrive, as it is anticipated that there will be well over 200 attendees.
