PARKES ROTARY CLUB PHF AWARDS

Rotarian John Short was awarded the Arthur Roeder Memorial Trophy for his great work over the past five years in organising Rotary’s BowelScan programme. John orders the kits and distributes them to the cooperating outlets in Parkes, Peak Hill and Trundle and as a result over 200 tests are done each year.

 

Dorelle Grady was awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship for her marvellous community work. Dorelle who is a “Friend of Rotary” has assisted Parkes Rotary Club with many projects over the past five or six years. She is a most willing helper with everything the club is involved with. She is also well known in the community for her willingness to help anyone including keeping her back lane immaculate.
